About the project The PowerGym Management System was developed for the largest bodybuilding gym in Awdal, Somalia, to enhance its daily operations and improve efficiency. The system is structured into two distinct and independent sections: the management side and the staff side, each with specialized functions to streamline operations. The management side is designed to give the gym’s management full control and oversight of employee activities and financial operations. With this system, the manager can monitor staff performance, track customer registrations, and access detailed financial reports on a weekly, monthly, or yearly basis. The system also alerts the manager to key membership details, such as customers whose memberships are about to expire or have already expired, and tracks outstanding payments or discounts applied to certain customers. This ensures that the manager is always up to date on the gym’s financial status and customer relations. On the other hand, the staff side focuses on customer service, allowing employees to register new members, renew expired memberships, and check the status of customers whose memberships are nearing expiration. However, staff members are restricted from accessing any financial data, ensuring that accounting information remains confidential and secure. A key feature of the system is its advanced security measures, which completely separate the management and staff sections, ensuring that sensitive information is protected. The system has undergone thorough cybersecurity testing, including virus protection, to guarantee its safety and reliability. This innovative solution not only enhances the operational efficiency of the gym but also ensures that the management team can make informed decisions while maintaining a secure environment.

Mobile first design Mobile-First Design focuses on creating optimized, user-friendly experiences for mobile devices first, ensuring core functionality and performance. It then scales up to larger screens, providing a seamless experience across all devices.

The mobile design is fully responsive, ensuring it adapts seamlessly to fit smartphone screens for an optimal user experience.

Credentials The PowerGym Management System features a strong security framework that assigns specific access levels based on user credentials, such as the guest account with the username "Guest" and password : "00001", which is restricted to the reception side. This ensures that only management can access sensitive financial data, while staff and guest users are limited to customer-related tasks like registration and membership renewals. The system separates the management and staff sides, protecting data confidentiality, and has undergone rigorous cybersecurity testing to safeguard against threats, ensuring the privacy and security of all information.
